Register Now!Enjoy music of the advent season and the route of nativity scenes that are spread throughout Bamberg’s Old Town. At 40 different locations – museums, churches, public buildings, private houses and on public squares, you can see about 400 different Christmas cribs, with regularly changing scenes depicting all the stories around Christ’s birth according to the Bible. Vendors are populated with beautiful sundries, traditional German Christmas items, handcrafted art objects, mouth-watering snacks and of course the spiced mulled wine (Glühwein) served hot and steaming. On this particular weekend, you have the privilege of visiting two special crafts markets which are all staged within the old town and walking distance and only offered once during the holiday advent season.
