As a recruitment incentive, we are offering a $200 recruitment bonus and an $800 retention bonus. Eligibility for these incentives and bonus will be applicable to newly hired or rehired (e.g., one being reinstated or re-employed after a break in service of at least 1 year) individuals selected from this fair only. Hourly rates of pay are based on qualifications:
- Entry Level: $17.39
- Skill Level: $18.43
- Target Level: $19.54
Qualifications and Conditions:
- Must be at least 17 years old, a dependent of a Service member or Department of Defense Civilian Employee and in pursuit of a high school diploma OR Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma/GED
- Communicate effectively in English (written & orally)
- Health assessment and immunizations
- Satisfactory completion of pre-employment and background checks
- Physical ability to lift 40lbs.
- Walk, bend, stoop and stand on a routine basis.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Here's how it works on May 24:
Step 1:
Applicants register in-person at the Field House, B547, Tower Barracks, from 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Applicants that pre-apply on usajobs by May 22 must be present at the job fair to be interviewed.
Please see announcement for a list of documents to bring with you on the day.
Documents needed:
- Resume with current email address, physical address and phone number
- Three references (name, phone and email)
- Immunization records
- School record if 17 and still in high school
- Passport and Social Security Card
- High School diploma/college transcript(s)
- Completed CYS Interest Questionnaire (complete at the hiring fair)
Step 2:
If your application is complete, you must be available for an in-person interview that will start at 9 a.m. that same day. If your application is not being considered by HR, you will receive notice prior to interview time.
NOTE: Applicants who arrive after 11:30 a.m. will not be considered for hire during the Fair.
