Fourth of July Celebration

Celebrate the Fourth of July with the USAG Bavaria community! Our Independence Day Celebration starts at 5 p.m. on the Parade Field, Tower Barracks.

Festivities include games and entertainment! Live music performances from Sweet Siren presented by Armed Forces Entertainment at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. And don't miss the fireworks at 10:30 p.m.!

Food and beverages available for purchase onsite -- U.S. Dollars, Euros and credit cards accepted. Picnics permitted. Outside liquor not authorized.

This event is open to U.S. ID cardholders, Host Nation employees and their guests. Entry is free.

Schedule

• 5 p.m.: Event opens
• 7 p.m.: Live music from Sweet Siren presented by Armed Forces Entertainment
• 8:30 p.m.:  Live music from Sweet Siren presented by Armed Forces Entertainment
• 10:30 p.m.: Fireworks

The menu includes Bavarian specialties: currywurst, steak, pretzels, Bavarian cheese, oxburger and more as well as assorted beverages and beer available.

• When is it open?
  Fourth of July on the Parade Field, Tower Barracks: 5-11 p.m.
   
• Who can attend Fourth of July?
  Trusted Traveler policy is in effect for this event at Gates 1 and 6. Access is granted from 4 p.m. day of the event. Guests must have an official ID such as a Personalausweiss or Reisepass. Prohibited items include: liquor and weapons and any items that may cause bodily harm as determined by law enforcement. Everyone entering the gate is subject to search.
  
  Gate 1 is walk-in only. U.S. ID cardholders and Host Nation employees with valid installation passes may escort up to four guests to the event through Gate 1. Guests must be escorted through Gate 1 on Alte Amberger Str; Guests must walk in through the gate, note bikes and scooters are not permitted.
  
  At Gate 6 U.S. ID cardholders and Host Nation employees with valid installation passes will be allowed to bring as many guests that legally fit in a POV (i.e. seat belt) not to exceed 10.
   
• How much does it cost?
  Entrance into the event is free. Food and beverages are available for sale.

• What can I expect?
  There will be music, fun activities and fireworks.
   
• Is there a shuttle?
  Yes, a shuttle will run between the Rose Barracks EXCHANGE and the Tower Barracks EXCHANGE.
   
• What types of items are PROHIBITED from the celebration?
  Prohibited items include: outside liquor, weapons and any items that may cause bodily harm as determined by law enforcement.
   
• Can I bring my pet?
  Pets are allowed to this event in accordance with Garrison regulations. Note, this event will have a large number of people and noise levels will be elevated. 
   
• Cost: Free to enter.
