Hunting in Germany requires a license obtainable through this course.

This course begins February 13 at the Wild B.O.A.R. multi-purpose classroom. The course concludes with a test on May 13, 2023. During the duration of the course, participants will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for classroom instruction. Some Saturday, Sunday and off-site instructional sessions are also required. A course schedule is available upon request.
The course test date is May 13 and includes the following:
- Proper weapons handling (oral)
- Technical weapons information (oral)
- 100 meter Reh buck shoot
After the shooting portion is completed, a 100 question written test will be administered. Subject matter areas on test include: game biology, hunting dogs/hunting procedures, weapon laws, handling of firearms, nature and animal protection, Jagdschutz, ethics, animal diseases, meat handling & hygiene.
Cost
Hunting Course cost is $250 plus memberships fee:
- 1 year membership= $15
- 3 year membership = $30
- 5 year membership = $45
- Lifetime membership = $99
Registration Information
Pre-registration is required by close of business February 9, 2023. Maximum course participation is 20 people. Open to U.S. Citizens, U.S. ID card holders with logistical support, 18+
