Hunting Course

Hunting in Germany requires a license obtainable through this course.

This course begins November 2 at the Wild B.O.A.R. multi-purpose classroom. The course concludes with a test. During the duration of the course, participants will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for classroom instruction. Some Saturday, Sunday and off-site instructional sessions are also required. A course schedule is available upon request.

Test to get the licence:
1. 100 question written test.
Subject matter areas on test include: game biology, hunting dogs/hunting procedures, weapon laws, handling of firearms, nature and animal protection, Jagdschutz, ethics, animal diseases, meat handling & hygiene.
2. Proper weapons handling (oral)
3. Technical weapons information (oral)
4. 100 meter Reh buck shoot

Cost
Hunting Course cost is $300 plus memberships fee:
1 year membership= $15
3 year membership = $30
5 year membership = $45
Lifetime membership = $99

Registration Information
Open Enrollment begins October 12 and closes of business Nov. 1.
Maximum course participation is 20 people.

Registration fee is $300. That includes the instruction and test, certificate, some ammunition, firearm rental, targets, and range fees. Other ammo, firearms and fees will be charged when used. Students should expect to pay approximately $250 in incidental fees in addition to the course fee.

Open to U.S. Citizens, U.S. ID card holders with logistical support, 18+
Requires a successful FBI background check - to be processed at enrollment.
