Snowtober Fest

Join us at Snowtober Fest featuring ice skating, carnival attractions, axe throwing, archery and a winter beer garden! NEW food trucks will offer food/drinks for purchase (see options below). Entry fee covers all activities. Open to U.S. ID card holders & guests.

February 17-20
Activities: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily
Winter Beer Garden with DJ music and food trucks open until 8 p.m. (free entrance after 6 p.m.) ​​​​
Location: Heid Pond, Tower Barracks (behind the EXCHANGE)

ACTIVITIES:

• Ice Skating (note: personal skates not permitted; protective helmets available; socks required; Skate sizes available: German Size 28-44)
• Beer Mug Shuffle Board (ages 10+; one game then return to line to play again)
• Biathlon Shoot (ages 12+; one game then return to line to play again)
• Curling Lane (all ages; one game then return to line to play again)
• Beer Box Climb (ages 10+; one try then return to line to go again)
• Ninja Parkour Course (all ages with adult or ages 5+ alone; one try then return to line to go again)
• Winter Toboggan (all ages with adult or ages 5+ alone; one ride then return to line to go again)
• Axe Throwing (ages 10+; participants get three throws and return to line for more)
• Archery (ages 10+; participants get three arrows and return to line for more)

Parents must remain with children at activities. 

Featuring DJ events start at 2 p.m. each day with the following themes:

• February 17: Karaoke
• February 18: Carnival/Fasching
• February 19: Open Mic
• February 20: DJ Mix

Cash and Credit Card accepted. Prices shown in U.S. Dollars but Euros accepted at 1 to 1 exchange rate.

FAQs

• What types of items are PROHIBITED from the fest?
  Prohibited items include: outside liquor, weapons and any items that may cause bodily harm as determined by law enforcement. Note, bags are subject to search.
   
• Can I bring my pet?
  Pets are allowed to this event in accordance with Garrison regulations. Note, this event will have a large number of people and noise levels will be elevated. 
   

• Is there a place for strollers?
  Yes, strollers may be parked under an unsupervised canopy.

• Is parking available?
  Parking is available at Motor Pool #9925 and #935
  Alternative parking available at the EXCHANGE parking lot.
  Note: there is no shuttle service to this event.

• Recommend attire?
  This event is outdoors and inside tents, please dress accordingly for the cold and terrain.
